Sausages are a favorite dish for a large number of people. Sausages can be substituted for a second dish, such as cutlets. At the same time, sausages will go well with any side dish. Mashed potatoes, rice, buckwheat, pasta – sausages go with everything.
The first sausages were created in the XVII century by Johannes Laner, a butcher. This man opened his own butcher shop, where in addition to the usual pieces of meat sold sausages. This shop was located in Vienna, which is remarkable.

Ingredients for sausages in dough:
- sausages – 10 pcs;
- water – 150 ml.
- milk – 150 ml;
- yeast – tsp;
- sugar – tbsp;
- salt – tsp;
- flour – 400 g;
- butter – 2 tbsp.
Preparation of sausages in dough:
Remove the sausages from the film, divide in half across, and then again in half lengthwise.
Pour warm water and milk into a bowl, pour salt, sugar and yeast, stir until the grains of sand dissolve
. Pour the flour into the mixture gradually, kneading elastic and not sticky dough
.
Pour the melted butter into the dough and knead. Leave the dough under a towel for an hour.
Divide the dough into small balls slightly larger than walnuts. Roll out each roll into a rectangular layer, equal in area to a small sausage
. Place the sausage inside the layer, wrap and seal the edges. The tips of the sausage should be peeking out of the dough. Make several parallel shallow cuts on the surface of the dough.
Place the sausages in the dough on a parchment-lined baking tray.
Bake sausages in dough at 200 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
After cooking you can grease the sausages in dough with vegetable oil.
