“Snowy forest”. New Year salad with chicken and mushrooms: you won’t find a tastier one

Preparing salads is an important tradition for many families in the CIS countries. However, beautiful holiday salads are also prepared by Europeans and Americans. Basically, in Europe, classic salads such as Caesar or Greek are relevant.

In colder countries, salads can be hearty and juicy. In Finland, Norway prepare dishes with fish and special sauces. Germans make salads with potatoes, pickled onions and sausages. Accordingly, such salads are also festive.

People are attracted by the universality of salads, so they are prepared for holidays. Salad is an appetizer and a main dish at the same time. Different components can be used.

Let’s tell you how to make a salad with chicken and mushrooms – “Snow Forest”.

Ingredients for the salad:

  • Eggs – 6 pcs;
  • Mushrooms – 250 g;
  • Onion – 1 pc;
  • Carrots – 1 pc;
  • Hard cheese – 150 g;
  • Green onions – 4 pcs;
  • Prunes – 150 g;
  • Chicken thighs – 3 pcs;
  • Dill – 2 sprigs;
  • Mayonnaise – 200 ml;
  • Garlic – 2 cloves;
  • Salt – ½ tsp.

Preparation of the salad:

Boil in salted water chicken thighs until ready, boil hard-boiled eggs. Chop green onions and dill, mix with mayonnaise

, press garlic cloves through a press into mayonnaise, mix ingredients thoroughly

. Cut mushrooms

thin slices, fry in a frying pan until moisture evaporates

. Cut onions into small cubes, grate peeled carrots.

Pour vegetable oil into fried mushrooms, fry for a couple of minutes. Put mushrooms

In a pan with vegetable oil fry onion and carrots. You can add a piece of butter to the pan for juiciness of vegetables.

Cut small pieces of boiled chicken meat. Grease a flat plate with sauce, put a cooking ring on it. In the ring tamp a layer of chicken meat, smear with sauce. In the

Put first a layer of yolks and then whites – cover with sauce. On the layer of proteins we put fried onions and carrots.

the sauce on the prune layer. Grate cheese finely, sprinkle cheese on the top of the salad. Spread

the rest of the sauce on the cheese layer. Chop the rest of the green onions, sprinkle on the cheese layer. Rub proteins on the layer of green onions, send the salad to the refrigerator for 5-6 hours to soak.
