Zrazy is an unusual and very interesting dish, which partly resembles cutlets. Zrazy gained the greatest similarity compared to Kiev-style cutlets. This dish came to the world cooking thanks to the Poles, and
was introduced by the wife of King Sigismund I, who introduced this culinary delicacy into regular use. However, Lithuanians claim that zrazy originally appeared not in Poland, but in Lithuania. This confrontation has been going on for quite a long time. According to the Lithuanians, zrazy was brought to Poland after the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was formed.
You can argue for a long time about the origin of zrazy, it is better to cook them.
Ingredients for zrazy:
- breadcrumbs – 4 tbsp;
- milk – 50 ml;
- minced meat – 500 g;
- onion – pcs.;
- egg – 3 pcs;
- butter – 100 g;
- garlic – 2 cloves;
- cheese – 100 g;
- parsley – bundle.
Ingredients for the batter:
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- sour cream – 2 tbsp;
- flour – 3 tbsp;
- leavening agent – ½ tsp.
Preparation of zrazas:
Powdered breadcrumbs should be poured with milk and stir. Run the onion through a meat grinder, put it to the minced meat, break an egg there.
Put in the minced meat also breadcrumbs in milk, mix thoroughly

Do not forget to salt the mixture to taste.
Boil hard-boiled eggs, peel and grate on a coarse grater. Add soft butter to the eggs, grate coarsely grated cheese.
Press garlic cloves through a press to butter and eggs. Shinkuem finely parsley, pour into the bowl with eggs and butter, mix.
Shape the minced meat into small tortillas, where we put the egg filling.
Seal the stuffing inside the minced meat, leave in the refrigerator under the foil for 15 minutes.
For batter beat eggs, add sour cream, flour and baking powder, mix thoroughly.
Dip the zrazy in batter and send to a frying pan with vegetable oil
.
Fry the zrazy on both sides until golden crust.
As a result, you get fried juicy zrazy.
This is a great way to replace the usual cutlets with something new.
