There are many beet salads that have long impressed mankind with their flavor. The top salads include Herring under a fur coat, and Vinegret and other beet viands. However, it is always necessary to experiment.
Beetroot is a vegetable that gives a wide scope for creativity to cooks. It combines with most products. Therefore, it is not difficult to prepare something new from beets. The
vegetable can be combined not only with herring, but also with mackerel, red fish and meat of pig, chicken. Often mushrooms, eggs and cheeses are added to beet salads.
Let’s tell one of the recipes for beet salad – “Raw Pan”.
Ingredients for salad “Raw Pan”:
- Beets – pcs;
- pickled cucumber – 2 pieces;
- Salami – 150 g;
- Cheese – 150 g;
- Mayonnaise;
- Egg – 2 pcs;
- Salt – ½ tsp.
Preparation of salad “Raw Pan”:
Boil to readiness beets, peel and grate them on large grater sharps. We cut into small cubes salt and pickles
. In a pastry ring we put the beet mixture, slightly tamp and salt. Smear each layer of the salad with mayonnaise
and put on the beet layer with salami. Cool and peel hard-boiled eggs and grate them on a fine grater.
Put a layer of eggs on the layer of salami. Put
pickles on the egg
layer.
Do not forget to cover the layers with mayonnaise. Grate cheese on a coarse grater, put it on the cucumber layer.
Create a mayonnaise mesh on the surface of the cheese layer.
