About 150 years ago, cakes were a very expensive treat for the nobility. The fact is that the main ingredient for sweet baked goods, namely sugar, cost a lot of money. In addition, the recipes for making lush creams and biscuits were secret.

They were not cooked very often, because the expensive pleasure did not last long on the festive table. Cakes quickly fell into disrepair, the cream spoiled.
Let’s prepare a modern cake without baking in 15 minutes.
Ingredients for the cake with custard:
- Chocolate cookies – 400 g;
- Milk cookies – 300 g;
- Milk – 800 ml;
- Eggs – 3 pcs;
- Sugar – 170 g;
- Butter – 100 g;
- Coconut shavings – 100 g;
- Flour – 2 tbsp;
- Cornstarch – 1 tbsp;
- Vanilla sugar – 10 g.
Preparation of the cake with custard:
To prepare the cream in a saucepan beat the eggs, pour sugar, vanilla sugar, flour and starch, mix thoroughly. Gradually pour milk into the mixture. On medium heat bring the cream to thickening, stirring constantly.
Put in the cream mass butter, melt the butter inside. Stir the components, cook for a couple more minutes.
Pour coconut shavings into the cream, mix.
Transfer the cream to a bowl, cover the contact with foil and send to cool. Grease the bottom of the mold with the cooled cream.
Place the cookies on the cream layer tightly together.
Grease the chocolate cookie layer with cream. Place the milk cookies on top of the cream layer also tightly. Thus each cream layer is filled with cookies, alternating milk and chocolate cookies.
From the rest of the cookies make fine crumbs, with which sprinkle the last cream layer of the cake. Cover the cake with food film and send it to the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
The result is a delicious cake with custard without baking the cakes.
