Cupcakes have become a recognizable dessert all over the world. Moreover, cupcakes have held the bar of high popularity for quite a long time. Since the XIX century, this type of pastry began to penetrate all countries. It was fashionable for the nobility to have breakfast with muffins, to use them with tea. The
tradition of honoring muffins remains relevant in the countries of Europe. For example, in England there is still a holiday of cupcakes. It is held in early fall, that is, in September. For a whole week, cooks bake various cupcakes. One of the most interesting is considered a pumpkin muffin. Let’s prepare it in our kitchen too.
Ingredients for the muffin:
- flour – 240 g;
- baking soda – 1 tsp;
- leavening agent – 1/2 tsp;
- salt – 1/2 tsp;
- cinnamon – 1½ tsp;
- ground ginger – 1/4 tsp;
- nutmeg – 1/4 tsp;
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- sugar – 200 g;
- vanilla sugar – 10 g;
- vegetable oil – 120 g;
- milk – 60 ml;
- pumpkin puree – 280 g.
Preparation of muffins:
Pour into a separate bowl flour with baking powder, cinnamon, ground ginger and nutmeg. In another bowl break eggs, add vanilla and classic sugar, beat until sugar dissolves. Pour
vegetable oil into the egg mixture, mix. Pour milk into the egg mixture as well, mix. Add the cooked pumpkin mixture to the egg mixture, mix.
Sift the flour mixed with the rest of the bulk products into the egg mixture in batches

Knead the batter, then add the rest of the flour.
Pour the batter into the muffin molds by ½ of the total volume of the mold.
Bake the cupcakes at 210 degrees for 5 minutes.
After baking the cupcakes can be sprinkled with sugar shavings. You get flavorful and sweet fall cupcakes.
