Salads are a very ancient dish. Probably because of the fact that salads are an elementary dish, they began to be prepared so long ago. Initially, salads were originally made with only herbs and onions. But in the process of civilization and culinary development, salads also began to evolve.
In the process of modernizing the dish, people learned to add mushrooms, vegetables, cheese and meat to salads. Through such bold experimentation, salads have established themselves in all the cuisines of countries. Each state has its own recognizable dish.
For example, everyone knows about Olivier or Herring under a fur coat. It is worth telling about another salad for the holiday.
Ingredients for a holiday salad:
- Onions – pcs;
- Eggs – 5 pcs;
- Cucumber – 1 pc;
- Canned tuna – 200 g;
- Cheese – 150 g;
- Mayonnaise;
- Salt – ½ tsp;
- Ground black pepper – a pinch;
- Paprika – a pinch;
- Vinegar 9% – 50 ml.
Preparation of festive salad:
Cut small squares of onion, pour to it vinegar and water in equal proportions. Leave the onions to marinate in the vinegar water.
Boil hard-boiled eggs, peel and grate them on a flat mold in a pastry ring with a fine grater. Salt the egg layer and sprinkle with ground black pepper.
Knead the canned tuna, separate it from the liquid. Smear the egg layer with mayonnaise, put an even layer of tuna on it.
Squeeze the onion from the marinade, put

on the fish layer. Peel the cucumber from the peel and grate it on a fine grater on the onion layer. Smear a thin layer of mayonnaise on the cucumber layer, sprinkle with pepper.
Grate cheese finely and sprinkle it on the top of the salad. Remove the ring and leave the salad for a couple of hours for soaking.
