Baking is an important part of human culture, at least gastronomically. All countries have their own recipes for this or that dough dish. We often hear, for example, about khachapuri, belyashi, chebureks and echpochmaki. These are the most popular pies in Central Asia and CIS countries.
However, many people neglect to prepare traditional pastries at home. Mostly people buy pies in bakeries
. It is worth trying to prepare a similar belyashi on your own.
Ingredients of filling for belyashi:
- Vegetable oil – 50 ml;
- Onion – 2 pcs;
- Beef stuffing – 400 g;
- Mushrooms – 250 g;
- Salt – ½ tsp.
Ingredients for the dough:
- Flour – 450 g;
- Salt – 1 tsp;
- Vegetable oil – 30 ml;
- Boiling water – 300 ml.
Preparation of belyashi:
To create the filling, we cut a small diced onion, chop mushrooms in small slices. In a frying pan with vegetable oil fry onions until soft.
Add minced meat to onions, sprinkle with favorite spices and fry. Add mushrooms to the fried minced meat. Cook until the mushrooms reduce in size and then cool.

For the dough, combine flour and salt, pour into the loose products first boiling water and then vegetable oil. Knead the dough with a spatula. Knead
the slightly cooled dough with your hands until soft and elastic. Divide the dough into 16 equal balls.

Roll out the dough into thin rounds. Spread a tablespoon of filling on each half-circle. Cover the filling with the second part of the dough and seal the edges.

In a frying pan with vegetable oil fry the patties until golden on both sides. Do not forget to periodically turn the patties from one side to the other.

You will get simple quick belyashi from thin crispy dough.
