Pies are a joy for a lot of people. They arouse nostalgia in a large number of people. Especially people born in the Soviet Union. The fact is that in the USSR, pies were often cooked by grandmothers in the villages. Grandchildren, coming on vacation to older relatives, constantly tasted delicious village pies.

Now village pies are almost impossible to find. Many bearers of delicious homemade pies from the oven have already passed away.

However, it is possible to prepare homemade pies according to well-known recipes.

Ingredients of the dough for chicken pies:

  • Kefir – 300 ml;
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp;
  • Salt – 1 tsp;
  • Egg – 1 pc;
  • Vegetable oil – 20 g;
  • Flour – 500 g;
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp.

Ingredients for the filling:

  • Chicken thighs – 400 g;
  • Mushrooms – 200 g;
  • Onions – 2 pcs;
  • Butter – 50 g;
  • Cream – 2 tbsp;
  • Sour cream – 1 tbsp;
  • Salt – ½ tsp.

Preparation of chicken patties:

In a bowl with kefir pour granulated sugar, salt, beat an egg, pour in vegetable oil, beat with a whisk until homogeneous. Pour in the kefir flour and baking powder, knead the dough for 8 minutes with your hands.

Grease the container with vegetable oil, leave the dough in it for half an hour under a towel

For the filling, cut small pieces of peeled mushrooms, chicken thighs and onions.

In a frying pan, melt butter, fry onions until lightly golden. To the onions put mushrooms, mix and continue to fry.

To the mushrooms and onions put chicken meat and fry until white. Pour salt and spices into the stuffing, sprinkle with flour, mix.

To the stuffing put cream and sour cream, mix with the rest of the components, cook for another minute.
