Festive salads are one of the very unpredictable types of salads. The fact is that recently many cooks make too questionable dishes of this sample. Sometimes the number of ingredients, their combination with each other causes a lot of doubt. Often such salads remain unattended on the table, since they do not inspire confidence in guests. Unfortunately, not all culinary delights are able to delight ordinary consumers.
How to present guests with a new salad, so that it overshadows Olivier or Herring under a fur coat? Let’s prepare a simple and tasty salad “Bird”.
Ingredients for salad “Bird”:
- chicken fillet – pcs;
- smoked sausage – 120 g;
- cheese – 150 g;
- eggs – 4 pcs;
- pickles – 4 pcs;
- mushrooms – 400 g;
- onion – 1 pc;
- salt – ½ tsp;
- mayonnaise;
- chips.
Preparation of salad “Bird”:
Boil to readiness chicken fillet in salted water, and eggs – hard-boiled. Cut mushrooms into thin plates, cut onions into small cubes
. In a frying pan in vegetable oil fry onions, add mushrooms. Wait until all the moisture evaporates from the mushrooms.
Tear the cooked fillet into fibers, creating the first layer in the salad. Cover the meat with a grid of mayonnaise. On the layer of chicken put a mushroom layer with onions.
Cut small bars of pickles, lay them out as the third layer, smear with mayonnaise.
Peel and cut eggs into small cubes. Put them as the fourth layer in the salad.
Cut smoked sausage into bars similarly to cucumbers, make it the next layer. Grate cheese on a coarse grater
. Cover the sausage layer with mayonnaise, sprinkle the top with cheese.
Make a grid of mayonnaise over the entire surface of the salad.
Before serving, crush chips into crumbs and sprinkle them on the surface of the salad.
It is better to make the salad in advance and let it soak in the refrigerator without sprinkling chips.
