What dish is found in almost 90% of restaurants around the world? This dish is salads. It is hard to imagine an establishment that does not serve salads. As a rule, they make up at least 5% of the menu. Of course, there are special specialized cafes where salads are not served. But, such restaurants are much smaller than usual.
In establishments we see typical “popular” salads – Caesar, Olivier, Greek. In themed places you can find unusual salads. It
is also worth preparing at home atypical salads. Let’s tell you how to make one of these.
Ingredients for the salad:
- tomatoes – 3 pcs;
- crab sticks – 200 g;
- cheese – 100 g;
- garlic – 2 cloves;
- mayonnaise – 1.5 tbsp;
- bread – 3 slices;
- Provencal herbs – ½ tsp;
- smoked paprika – ⅓ tsp;
- vegetable oil – tbsp.
Salad preparation:
Cut small cubes of bread slices, about 1×1 cm. In a bowl with the bread,
add
the herbs, paprika, salt to taste.
Mix the bread with the spices, add vegetable oil. Again mix the bread, but with oil and send it to a dry skillet. Over medium heat, fry breadcrumbs for 5-7 minutes, stirring constantly.
You can put the bread on a tray and bake in the oven for the same period of time.
Cut tomatoes into large cubes

If desired, remove the pulp or let the juice drain through a sieve. Cut small cubes of crab sticks, grate finely cheese. Mix tomato, cheese and crab sticks in a salad bowl.
Press garlic cloves into the salad, salt and pepper to taste. Fill the salad with mayonnaise and mix thoroughly.
Before serving sprinkle the salad with breadcrumbs and chopped green onions.
Salad can also be laid out in layers, this method is suitable for a festive table.
