Many people know that there are different kinds of cakes. But, as a rule, most people associate a cake with a sweet dessert. In such a dessert there are sponge cakes and cream. However, meat, liver cakes have also been invented. Their main difference lies in the specifics

Someone considers baked or meat cake disgusting at all. One has to experiment to realize the beauty of appetizer cakes.
Ingredients for appetizer cake:
- chicken shanks – 6 pcs;
- soy sauce – 3 tbsp;
- garlic – clove;
- paprika – ½ tsp;
- mustard – 2 tsp;
- mushrooms – 500 g;
- onion – pcs;
- pita – 6 pcs;
- eggs – 3 pcs;
- cheese – 200 g;
- prunes – 60 g;
- walnuts – 60 g;
- mayonnaise – 3 tbsp;
- sour cream – 3 tbsp;
- garlic – 2 cloves.
Preparation of appetizer cake:
Sprinkle chicken shanks with salt and paprika, pour soy sauce. Add mustard to the shanks, mix and leave to marinate for a short period of time.
Put the shanks in a mold for baking, cook in the oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes.
Cut onions into small cubes, fry in a frying pan until soft.
Cut mushrooms into thin slices, put them to the soft onions

On medium heat fry mushrooms for 4-5 minutes.
Apply a flat plate to each pita, circle with a knife – we get a kind of crust.
In a separate bowl beat eggs, sprinkle with spices
. Envelop the pita in the egg mixture. Put the pita on the frying pan, fry on both sides for a couple of minutes. Repeat the algorithm with the rest of the round pita.
Cut the meat from the shanks into small pieces. In a bowl, mix sour cream and mayonnaise, pass garlic cloves there, mix.
In a pastry ring, assemble the snack cake. On the bottom lay out the first pita, sprinkle with chicken meat – ½ part.
Smear the layer with mayonnaise, put on top of the second pita.
Put fried mushrooms and onions on the pita, smear with mayonnaise. Cover the mushroom layer with pita.
Grate cheese on small grating cutters, chop prunes, crush walnuts. Mix cheese, prunes and nuts, dress with sauce.
Place a layer of cheese filling on the pita. Repeat the layers with chicken, mushrooms and cheese.
Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on the top, put it in the refrigerator for an hour.
The resulting appetizer cake holds its shape perfectly without a pastry ring. This cake is not your typical liver cake, so it will be to the taste of guests at the party.
