The popularity of apple pie became particularly pronounced in the twentieth century. It happened thanks to North America. In this country, apple pies are a symbol of the identity of the nation.
The fact is that these pies in ancient times helped migrants from Europe to survive. The recipe for apple pie was brought to America by the British. Long before that, apples began to be grown in the U.S.
Now apple pie recipes have merged. It’s hard to understand the differences between American and European cooking methods.
Let’s show a recipe for apple pie, but without pastry.
Ingredients for apple pie:
- eggs – 3 pcs;
- sugar – 75 g;
- milk – 90 ml;
- butter – 35 g;
- flour – 80 g;
- apples – 700 g;
- leavening agent – 5 g;
- salt – a pinch;
- vanilla sugar – 10 g.
Preparation of apple pie:
Peel apples from the peel and seed pods, cut into thin slices. Soak the apples with lemon juice so that they do not darken.
Cover the baking mold with parchment – bottom and walls.
Melt butter in the microwave and cool to room temperature.
Break eggs into a bowl, mix with salt, beat at maximum speed

Gradually pour granulated sugar and vanilla sugar into the egg mixture until fluffy, 3-4 minutes.
Pour butter and milk into the egg mixture, mix until smooth. Combine the flour and baking powder, sift into the egg mixture. Note, all ingredients should be at room temperature.
On low speed of the mixer, beat the batter until smooth. Pour the batter into the apple slices, stir.
Using your hands, place the apples in the batter into the mold. Make sure that all the slices lie horizontally. Pour the batter onto the surface and spread with a spatula.
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees, bake for an hour. To prevent the cake from sticking, you can put a piece of parchment on the top during baking.
