Many people are convinced that tasty flatbreads can be prepared only in special restaurants or in the homeland of this pastry, i.e. in Georgia, Armenia and other eastern countries.

However, there are recipes for making tasty flatbreads at home. Do not be guided by the pastries that are presented to us in stores. As a rule, it is prepared quickly and without taking into account the peculiarities of the national cuisine.

For this reason, it is recommended to prepare juicy soft flatbread on your own. Let’s tell you how to make delicious flatbread at home.

Ingredients for flatbreads:

  • kefir – 100 ml;
  • baking soda – ½ tsp;
  • egg – pcs;
  • green onion – a few feathers;
  • cheese – 50 g;
  • salt – ⅓ tsp;
  • flour – 250 g.

Preparation of tortillas:

Quench the soda with kefir, add the egg and mix thoroughly. Chop green onions, grate cheese on small grating cutters. Put the cheese and onions into the egg and kefir mixture, salt and mix.

Sift the flour into the mixture, knead a slightly sticky tender dough
