It turns out that pancakes have their own deity, which originates from Slavic beliefs. There is an assumption that pancakes became so called because of their relation to the goddess of fertility – Lada. The fact is that the Slavs used to bring pancakes to the goddess as a gift in order to get a good harvest in return.
According to Slavic beliefs, pancakes are associated with a small sun, warming in difficult times.

Ingredients for cottage cheese fritters with apple:
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- sugar – 4 tbsp;
- vanilla sugar – tsp;
- salt – a pinch;
- kefir 3.2% – 100 ml;
- baking soda – tsp;
- 9% cottage cheese – 180 g;
- flour – 160 g;
- apples – 2 pcs.
Preparation of cottage cheese fritters with apple:
Eggs in a bowl whisk with a couple spoons of granulated sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Pour kefir into the mixture, sprinkle with baking soda and stir. Add cottage cheese to the resulting mass, dilute it in the egg mixture.

Cut apples into small pieces, remove the seed pods beforehand
. Melt butter in a frying pan and place apple pieces. Sprinkle apple slices with sugar, stew over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.
Place dough in a pastry bag. In a skillet heat vegetable oil, create fritters on the surface using the bag. Place the apple filling on top of the fritters.
Cover the filling with the rest of the pastry from the pastry bag. Turn the fritters to the other side and fry until golden.
It is recommended to serve these fritters hot.
Sprinkle the fritters with powdered sugar before serving.
