What is the most common fruit on the planet? Many people can probably guess that the fruit in question is the apple. It was cultivated by humans about 8,500 years ago. That is, the apple is one of the oldest fruits consumed by humans.

Later, apples were used to create various dishes. For example, putting them in baked goods. So there were sweet pies, which for a long time replaced people with pies and cakes. Even after the emergence of complex desserts in cooking, pies with apple have not ceased to be relevant.

Ingredients of the dough for apple pie:

  • Flour – 200 g;
  • Butter – 100 g;
  • Sour cream – 80 g;
  • Leavening agent – 1 tsp;
  • Salt – a pinch;
  • Sugar – 1-2 tbsp.

  • Apples – 4 pcs;
  • Sour cream – 250 g;
  • Cornstarch – 40 g;
  • Sugar – 60 g;
  • Vanilla sugar – 10 g;
  • Egg – 1 pc.

Preparation of apple pie:

To the flour pour baking powder, salt and granulated sugar, mix. Chop cold butter into flour with a large grater cutters. Create a creamy crumb, where we put the sour cream.

Mix the ingredients in the dough, quickly form a block with your hands. We send the block to the refrigerator so that the dough hardens slightly. It is important to keep the dough in the refrigerator in cellophane.

To prepare the filling, mix the egg with cornstarch, vanilla and classic sugar. Add sour cream to this mixture, mix the components again.
