Berries appeared in the human diet quite a long time ago, since the time of gathering. However, in the distant past, people perceived berries differently. For modern man, berries are a sweet small fruit that is added to many desserts. For the caveman, berries were a way to survive when there was no game.
Berries were later used to create many different foods. In addition to desserts, berries are used to create sauces. But it is pies with berries that have gained popularity.

Ingredients for cherry pie:
- vegetable oil – 100 g;
- eggs – 3 pcs;
- sugar – 200 g;
- sour cream – 100 g;
- salt – a pinch;
- vanilla sugar – 1 tsp;
- leavening agent – 9 g;
- flour – 250 g;
- cherries – 250 g.
Preparation of cherry pie:
From the cherries in advance remove the pips and leave in a sieve to drain excess juice. In a deep bowl with vegetable oil, break an egg, cover with a blender and whip to a lush homogeneous mass.
In a separate bowl, break a couple of eggs, pour granulated sugar, salt and vanilla sugar. Beat the components with a mixer until the loose ingredients dissolve.
Introduce the egg cream into the egg and sugar mixture, beat until the components are combined. Pour the starch into the cherries, combine the flour and baking
powder. Sift the flour into the egg mixture, knead a liquid dough without lumps. Cover the bottom and walls of the baking dish with parchment, ⅓ part of the dough on the surface.
