Fruit pastries have always been appreciated as they are considered as the most common dessert. Now a person has a wide variety of different pastries, cakes and other desserts. In ancient times, the main dessert for people were fruit pies. Often no sugar was used for such pies.
However, many people made pies with cottage cheese. This allowed the dough to be softer and fluffier. It is worth learning about how you can make delicious fruit pies at home.
Ingredients for fruit pies:
- butter – 250 ml;
- sugar – 140 g;
- flour – 530 g;
- leavening agent – 2 tsp;
- cinnamon – tbsp;
- apples – 6 pcs;
- cottage cheese – 200 g;
- vanilla sugar – tsp;
- orange – pcs;
- apricots – 55 g;
- dates – 40 g;
- walnuts – 10 g;
- eggs – pcs;
- sesame – 2 tsp.
Preparation of fruit pies:
Mix sugar with softened butter, beat until a white stable mass is formed.
Sift flour with baking powder and vanilla

Knead the dough with your hands and leave in cellophane in the fridge for half an hour.
Remove the seed pods from the apples, divide each fruit into two parts.
Remove the peel from the apples, put walnuts, dates, apricots and orange slices inside the fruit.
Roll out ½ of the dough into a layer equal to the baking tray. Cover the baking tray with parchment and place a layer of dough on the surface.
Place the apples on the sheet, sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar.
Roll out a similar layer of dough from the leftovers, cover the apples with it. Connect the edges of the layers. Beat the egg in a separate bowl, smear the top of the pie. Sprinkle the pie with sesame seeds.
Bake the pie at 180 degrees in the oven for an hour.
You get an excellent apple pie with many interesting flavors. The pie can be cut into individual pies, each with an apple in it.
