Ingredients for the dough:
- milk – 500 ml;
- sugar – tbsp;
- salt – tsp;
- vegetable oil – 3 tbsp;
- leavening agent – 12 g;
- flour – 900 g.
Preparation of the dough:
In a saucepan, slightly heat milk, add to it granulated sugar, salt and vegetable oil. Mix the ingredients until the granules dissolve in the milk.
Combine the flour and leavening agent, sift in parts into the milk. Knead the sticky soft dough with your hands, so that the dough does not stick to your hands, it is recommended to moisten the palms of your hands with water or vegetable oil.
When the dough is formed, you can start to divide it into balls and form tortillas.
The resulting dough does not need to be thawed under food foil, not even for 10 minutes. The dough is ready for baking or frying immediately after kneading.
