A simple recipe for a delicious strawberry pie. The whole secret is in the tender filling

Strawberries are not an ancient berry. Its origin is due to the crossing of two wild strawberry varieties.

For the first time, a large sweet red berry was bred by the French in the 18th century. At that time, strawberries became a highly sought-after berry. Confectioners often added it to desserts, as strawberries perfectly decorated any cake or pastry.

However, it is worth paying more attention to the real berry, not to flavorings. Let’s tell you how to prepare a strawberry cake.

Ingredients for strawberry cake:

  • Flour – 190 g;
  • Sugar -140 g;
  • Salt – 2 pinches;
  • Baking powder – 1 tsp;
  • Butter – 70 g;
  • Sour cream – 270 g;
  • Strawberries – 400 g;
  • Egg – 1 pc.

Preparation of strawberry cake:

In a bowl combine 170 grams of flour, a pinch of salt, 20 grams of sugar and leavening agent. Pour cold butter into the loose mixture, form creamy flour crumbs with your hands.
