Guests from Armenia taught me. I cook this recipe for zucchini 3-4 times a week and they don’t get boring

Flatbreads are one of the varieties of baked goods. This bread is used as a side dish in Eastern and Asian countries. Baton and rye bread, i.e. loaves, are not relevant for the inhabitants of Armenia and Georgia.

Probably, the tendency to bake flatbread is connected with the location of these countries.

For example, cooks wrap vegetables and meat in lavash to make it convenient to eat. Armenians use flatbreads also for eating meat products.

It is worth learning how to prepare delicious zucchini flatbreads on your own.

Ingredients of zucchini flatbread:

  • Zucchini – pcs;
  • Potatoes – pcs;
  • Onion – pcs.;
  • Salt – pinch;
  • Dill – bundle;
  • Bell pepper – pcs;
  • Eggs – 3 pcs;
  • Leavening agent – 8 g;
  • Milk – 250 ml;
  • Flour – 150 g.

Preparation of zucchini cakes:

Peel the potatoes and shred them on large sharps of a grater along with the zucchini. Leave the vegetable mixture in a bowl so that the juice comes out of it.

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs with a whisk, gradually pour the milk into the egg mixture. Sift the flour and baking powder into the mixture and knead a liquid dough.

Squeeze the juice from the potato and zucchini mixture with your hands.

Cut the peeled sweet pepper

into

small cubes, chop the dill, chop the onion on a small grater

. Put the onion, pepper and dill into the dough, mix.

Don’t forget to salt the dough, heat vegetable oil in a skillet. Move a couple of ladles of dough to the frying pan, spread evenly on the bottom.

On medium heat, fry the flatbread on both sides for 3 minutes.

Repeat the same procedure with the remaining amount of dough.

You get excellent flatbreads from simple ingredients. These flatbreads can be served with kebab or eaten separately.
