Ingredients for the sponge cake:

  • Eggs – 4 pcs;
  • Salt – a pinch;
  • Sugar – 100 g;
  • Honey – 50 g;
  • Butter – 50 g;
  • Baking soda – 6 g;
  • Flour – 170 g.

Ingredients for the cream:

  • Cream 33% – 250 g;
  • Powdered sugar – 3 tbsp;
  • Mascarpone – 250 g;
  • Vanilla sugar – 10 g.

Preparation of Medovik cake:

Eggs mix with salt, sugar, whisk together to a lush mass. In a saucepan mix honey and butter, heat and melt the components.

Pour into the mixture of butter and honey soda, mix thoroughly and cook for 30 seconds. Then pour the mixture from the saucepan into a bowl.

Sift the flour into the beaten eggs and knead the dough. Pour the hot honey mixture into the dough and continue kneading. Pour the dough into a baking dish lined with parchment

, cover the dish tightly with foil and place in a pan of boiling water. It is important that the boiling should be light. Cook the biscuit in this way for 40 minutes.
