Today, as many centuries ago, pies are a favorite dish in many families. Pies still occupy a place of honor on many festive tables. Some hosts have their own secrets of preparation, which they do not tell anyone. But sometimes there is not much time left, and guests are on the way, and then to the rescue you can come to the recipe, about which we will tell you below.
Ingredients for the dough:
- Potatoes – 6 pieces:
- Salt and pepper – to taste;
- Egg – 1 piece;
- Herbs – to taste;
- Flour – 300 g.
Ingredients for stuffing:
- Cheese – 100 g.
Preparation of patties:
Boil potatoes, break an egg into it and with the help of a masher turn the whole mass into a puree. Add salt, pepper, finely chopped herbs and flour. Thoroughly knead the dough to a homogeneous state. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
Grate cheese on a coarse grater
. Divide the rested dough into 2 parts. Roll out each part into a circle a centimeter thick.
Divide the filling into 8 parts and place the cheese around the circle, away from the edge of the dough.
Cut the whole surface in half, then divide the halves into 4 parts, cutting through the center.
Place the patties on a hot skillet greased with vegetable oil. Fry on each side until golden crust.
