Cutlets – a dish of minced meat were known in our country in the days of Peter the Great. Just then, hearths were brought from Holland and Germany, which were adapted for cooking this dish.
And since then, cutlets have entered the cuisine of our country, later various recipes of which were invented a huge number.

Ingredients for cutlets:
- minced meat – 500 g;
- kefir – 200 g;
- onion – 1 piece;
- egg – 1 piece;
- salt – 1 tsp;
- sugar – 1 tsp;
- pepper and spices – to taste;
- flour – 100 g;
- baking soda – 1 tsp.
Preparation of cutlets:
Mix minced meat, baking soda, egg, kefir, salt and sugar. Pass the onion through a meat grinder and add to the rest of the ingredients.
Stir the whole mass until it becomes homogeneous. After that, gradually sift flour into the mincemeat, stir so that no lumps are formed.
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan, put a tablespoon of minced meat on the bottom at a distance from each other.
Fry the cutlets for 10 minutes on low heat on each side to form a crust of golden color.
These cutlets can be called meat fritters. They can be served immediately after cooking, and any cream sauce will go well with them.
