Lemon cake is a delicious dessert that can easily be repeated at home. The story of its origin is so old that it is not known where this dessert was first invented.

Ingredients for the dough

- Eggs – 2 pieces;
- Vanilla sugar – 1 tsp;
- Sugar – 100 g;
- Vegetable oil – 120 ml;
- Milk – 120 ml;
- Flour – 220 g;
- Baking powder – 15 g.
Ingredients for lemon cream:
- Egg – 1 piece;
- Sugar – 50 g;
- Cornstarch – 40 g;
- Lemon juice – 50 ml;
- Zest – from one lemon;
- Milk – 300 ml.
Preparation of lemon cake:
Mix in a saucepan egg, sugar and lemon juice with lemon zest, add cornstarch, stir well with a whisk
.Pour in milk and stir the mixture until homogeneous
.Put the saucepan on medium heat and cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
Meanwhile, add 2 eggs, vanilla sugar and regular sugar to a bowl and mix well with a whisk.

Bring the dough to a homogeneous state, pour half of it into a mold with a diameter of 18 centimeters
