Strawberries are delicious sweet berries enriched with vitamins, fiber and antioxidants. And if in summer it is quite easy to get it, then in winter you have to contrive to get it. The
most reliable way is freezing, which preserves not only the taste qualities, but also its useful properties. However, you need to know how to properly freeze berries to avoid unpleasant consequences. And further you will learn how to do this.
Ingredients for freezing strawberries:
- Fresh strawberries – 2 kg;
- Sugar – to taste.
Preparation of frozen strawberries:
First you need to wash all the strawberries under running water with a sieve.
Shifting and rinsing berries should be careful not to crumple it. Next, pick the strawberries, getting rid of the stalks.
Choose the best berries and put them in the prepared for freezing containers, but do not fill them completely, because then there will be poured syrup. The rest of the berries: underripe, overripe or too large – sent together in a separate bowl.
Now whip with a blender to a homogeneous mass the strawberries that did not suit us. Then in the resulting syrup you can add sugar, if it seems that the syrup turned out not sweet enough. Everything is stirred until the sugar is completely dissolved.
The resulting syrup is poured into containers, in which before these distributed berries. Do it evenly, so that each berry was immersed equally.
We put the filled containers in the freezer.
