Pies in the traditions of different countries occupy not the last place in importance. Baking has always been one of the key features of human development. According to the recipes of different nations, you can understand how progressive people in a particular country are.

Ingredients of the dough for fish pie:
- sour cream – 250 g;
- mayonnaise – 250 g;
- eggs – 3 pcs;
- salt – a pinch;
- leavening agent – 10 g;
- flour – 200 g.
Ingredients of the filling:
- canned fish – 200 g;
- potatoes – 3 pcs;
- salt – a pinch;
- onion – pcs.
Ingredients for greasing:
- yolk – pcs;
- milk – tbsp.
Preparation of fish pie:
Mix in one bowl mayonnaise, sour cream, eggs and salt. Combine flour with baking powder and sift into the sour cream-mayonnaise mixture, knead the dough.
Remove the liquid from the canned fish, chop the onion in a bowl with the fish mass using small grater cutters
.
To the fish mixture pour a little salt, stir. Peel
the potatoes from the skin, grate them on a coarse grater and squeeze out the excess liquid. Grease the baking mold with vegetable oil, pour ½ of the dough.
Lay the potato mixture and fish filling on the dough. Pour the rest of the dough over the filling, spreading it evenly over the surface.
Brush the top of the pie with a mixture of egg yolk and milk. Bake the pie at 180 degrees for 50 minutes.
Optionally, before baking you can sprinkle the top with sesame seeds. This is a perfect pie that does not require a long kneading time.
