Cookies gained their popularity quite a long time ago. There is an assumption that this type of dessert came from the East, like many other modern sweets. However, archeologists have not been able to find the exact recipe for cookies.

At the end of the Middle Ages, cookies were a universal snack. For example, it was consumed with wine drinks, as well as other alcohol.

Its dessert value cookies acquired recently – in the XIX century. Then this type of baked goods began to be served on the tables of the nobility during balls.

Ingredients for crispy tongues:

  • flour – 160 g;
  • leavening agent – tsp;
  • powdered sugar – 140 g;
  • vanillin – 0.5 g;
  • butter – 130 g;
  • egg – pcs.

Pour powdered sugar and vanillin into a bowl with warm butter. Using a blender or a spatula, mix the ingredients thoroughly to a homogeneous mass.
