Many people like to pickle or pickle cucumbers for the winter period. For various New Year’s recipes, this product is excellent. However, often pickled and salted cucumbers remain until spring.
In the summer period, fresh cucumbers appear, pickled ones are no longer of interest to anyone. How then to get rid of pickled and pickled cucumbers?
You should not throw your labors in the garbage. We recommend making sandwiches from pickles. This is a good appetizer for the table when there are no any other products.
Ingredients for sandwiches from pickled cucumbers:
- pickled/pickled cucumbers – 5 pcs;
- sprats – 200 g;
- garlic – 2 cloves;
- baguette – pcs;
- onions – pcs;
- ground black pepper – ½ tsp;
- vegetable oil – 100 ml.
Preparation of sandwiches from pickled cucumbers:
Cucumbers need to be shredded on small sharps grater and squeeze from excess liquid. To the cucumber mass chop garlic cloves, mix the components.
Onions are cut into small cubes and fried until slightly noticeable golden color. Combine the cucumber mixture with the fried onions and ground black pepper, mix.
Cut the baguette into thin slices, smear the surface of the bread with the cucumber mixture.
On a layer of cucumber mixture put sprats.
You can optionally decorate the sandwiches with herbs – parsley and dill. This makes a very interesting sandwich, in which cucumbers play a key role.
