12 Spoon Cake. When I cook, I don’t measure anything: an incredibly simple recipe

Cakes, like many other dishes, were invented by the ancient Romans. The recipe for the dessert migrated from the Romans to the Italians. Translating cake and Italian, we learn that it means “round bread”.

Probably, the Romans 2000 years ago so called round cakes soaked in honey. The ancient peoples did not have any cream, and sugar had not been invented. Therefore, round bread with honey was quite considered a dessert.

Now we have a wide range of different confectionery products. However, it becomes difficult to find a tasty and not luscious cake. We suggest that you prepare a cake that is easy to execute from a small number of components.

Ingredients for milk cake:

  • eggs – 3 pcs;
  • salt – a pinch;
  • sugar – 12 spoons (120 g.);
  • vegetable oil – 12 spoons (120 ml.);
  • milk – 12 spoons (120 ml.);
  • lemon – ½ pcs;
  • flour – 12 spoons (120 g.);
  • leavening agent – tsp;
  • condensed milk – 12 spoons (120 ml.);
  • cream – 120 ml.

Cream for the cake:

  • cream – 200 ml;
  • sugar – 4 tbsp;
  • cream cheese – tsp.

Preparation of milk cake:

Beat the eggs with salt using a mixer until homogeneous. Gradually pour sugar into the egg mixture, dissolving it in the mixture.

Pour vegetable oil to the eggs, mix the ingredients. Pour

Also squeeze the juice of the lemon and add it to the egg mixture. Sift flour and baking powder into the mixture, knead the dough without lumps.

Cover the baking dish (22×22 cm) with parchment, pour the dough into it. Bake the biscuit for 35 minutes at 180 degrees.

While the biscuit is baking, create the impregnation. To do this, pour condensed milk and cream into a saucepan, cook the mixture for 4 minutes on medium heat.

Poke the sponge cake with a fork all over the surface, pour the impregnation on top. We take the cake for 10 minutes in the refrigerator.

For the cream, we mix granulated sugar with cream, whip the components for a couple of minutes. Add cream cheese to the cream, mix thoroughly and cover the surface of the cake with it.
