Everyone knows that beets strongly stain the ingredients they come in contact with. It is impossible to peel a root vegetable and still remain with clean hands. The fact is that beets contain a coloring substance called betacyanin.

We want to prepare vinaigrette according to the classic recipe and use one trick to make the main ingredient, beets, less coloring the vegetables in the salad. Be sure to give it a try, because salads are an essential part of a good diet!

Ingredients:

  • beets – 3 pcs;
  • potatoes – 3 pcs;
  • onion – pcs;
  • carrots – 2 pcs;
  • pickled cucumbers – 2 pcs;
  • canned peas – 6 tbsp. l.

Ingredients for dressing:

  • vegetable oil – 5 tbsp. lbs;
  • 9% vinegar or lemon juice – a tbsp;
  • mustard – tsp;
  • salt – 2 pinches;
  • sugar – 0.5 tsp;
  • ground black pepper.

Preparation:

In advance, boil the vegetables in mundi. Beets cook in a separate pot so that it does not color other products. Peel and cut the ingredients into small cubes.

Onions are cut into small cubes. Prepared beets are placed in a salad bowl and pour vegetable oil. Stir. This is necessary so that the beets in the salad do not stain other vegetables.

To make dressing, to five tablespoons of vegetable oil add salt, ground black pepper, half a teaspoon of sugar, as well as one teaspoon of mustard
