The different cuisines of the world have an interesting feature – preferences in making bread products. That is, there are cultures that have been baking bread since ancient times. There are also peoples who prefer flatbread to puffed buns.
Basically, we associate flatbread with the cuisine of Central Asia. It is there that you can find the most delicious and flavorful flour products. Flatbread in Central Asian culture is the personification of the sun. It is believed that this star is fundamental to all life on Earth.
Flour products are baked in the classic form or with the addition of fillings. We will tell you how to make universal flatbreads with cheese.
Ingredients for cheese scones:
- kefir – 200 ml;
- parsley – 30 g;
- cheese – 200 g;
- hunting sausages – 100 g;
- flour – 300 g;
- baking soda – ½ tsp;
- salt – ½ tsp;
- sugar – ½ tsp.
Preparation of cheese cakes:
Pour granulated sugar, salt and baking soda into kefir, mix the ingredients until dissolved in the fermented milk product. Sift the flour into the kefir in batches and knead the dough.
Grate cheese on a medium grater and add to the dough. Knead the dough on the table and bring it to an elastic state.
Cut sausages into rounds and chop parsley. Roll out the dough into a large 3-4 mm thick layer and cut out perfect flatbreads with the pot lid.
Place the sausages and parsley in a semicircle in each flatbread, cover with another piece of dough and seal the filling inside.
Crumple the dough with the filling into a lump to be rolled into a thick flatbread.
Fry the flatbread until golden crust on a frying pan with a large amount of vegetable oil.
These flatbreads can be prepared with other fillings. This dough goes well with mushrooms and cilantro, as well as tomatoes and peppers.
