In our country there is an analog of American doughnuts – pyshki

However, in our culture there is no tendency to make pyshki beautiful patterns of glaze and sprinkles.
Let’s try to create round doughnuts at home.
Ingredients for round doughnuts:
- eggs – 2 pcs;
- sugar – 40 g;
- flour – 240 g;
- salt – ½ tsp;
- cottage cheese – 400 g;
- leavening agent – tsp.
Preparation of round doughnuts:
Whip the cottage cheese with a blender to a homogeneous mass without lumps. Add eggs, salt and granulated sugar to the curd
mixture
and mix.
Sift half of the total amount of flour into the mixture, integrate the leavening agent and knead the dough. Pour the rest of the flour into the dough, knead
the dough
by hand. Make
a few thin sausages from the dough, divide them into small pieces. From each piece, form a small block of dough. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and drop the round doughnuts into the fat.
Fry over a low-medium heat until golden and evenly colored.
