How many good words are said about such an uncomplicated vegetable as potatoes. It would seem that it is just a root vegetable with a large accumulation of starch in its composition. However, even this starch in the right place and time can do wonders.

A lot of gold was found on a piece of land, which provoked Americans to mine this element.
But, due to unsanitary conditions among the miners scurvy began. Potatoes were the cure for this terrible disease. Because of the high demand, the price of the vegetable went up 20 times.
Now potatoes don’t cost so much money. Therefore, we can make many different appetizers and dishes from this vegetable.
Ingredients for potato balls with sauce:
- potatoes – 3 pcs;
- cheese – 2 slices;
- salt – a pinch;
- corn starch – 4 tbsp;
- paprika – tsp;
- butter – 50 g;
- milk – 200 ml;
- garlic – 5 cloves;
- water – 25 ml;
- flour – tbsp.
Preparation of potato balls:
Potatoes should be peeled from the skin and cut into thin leaves. Soak these leaves in water, and then well squeeze out all the liquid. Sprinkle the potato leaves with salt, starch and mix thoroughly.
Squeeze the potato mass in the starch from the accumulated liquid. Shape the potato mixture into small balls the size of walnuts.
Sauce.
Fry chopped garlic in melted butter in a frying pan. Grate cheese slices on a fine grater. Sprinkle the browned garlic with flour and mix with butter.
Pour water and milk to the creamy mixture so that the sauce is not thick. Send paprika and shredded cheese to the same place, mix the ingredients.
When all the products in the sauce melt and form a homogeneous mass – you can take the mixture off the heat.
In a separate frying pan with plenty of vegetable oil create a fryer – heat the fat.
In the hot oil fry the potato balls on all sides until golden.
For the sauce you can use both hard and melted cheese.
