The most unexpected pie recipe: an apple classic that’s made without an oven, flour or eggs

Apple pie is a symbol of home cooking, coziness and warmth. Such baking becomes especially relevant in the fall period, when the harvest of apples becomes very abundant. Apples are used to make charlottes, tarte tatin and other types of baked goods.

The easiest way to realize apples in baking is a pie. Even if you do not have certain products at home, you can make a delicious and healthy apple pie. You don’t even need flour to bake a flavorful pastry.

It is impossible to assume exactly where apple pies were first baked. There are so many recipes all over the world. Moreover, baking apple desserts was practiced in both northern and southern countries. Therefore, we can accurately say that apple pie is a common heritage of mankind.

Let’s prepare a delicious pie with apples without eggs and flour in the composition

Ingredients:

  • apples – 600 g;
  • sugar – 4 tbsp;
  • cinnamon;
  • cookies – 300 g;
  • walnuts – 60 g;
  • dark chocolate – 50 g;
  • milk – 250 ml;
  • vanilla sugar – 10 g;
  • cornstarch – 1.5 tbsp;
  • white chocolate – 40 g.

Preparation of apple pie:

Grate apples on a coarse grater, mix with three spoons of sugar and cinnamon. On medium heat, stirring cook the apple mixture for 10 minutes.

Chop the cookies not very finely, put the apple mixture to it.

Grind dark chocolate on a fine grater

and add it to the mixture of

Put the mixture in a pastry ring and tamp it down.

In a saucepan mix the milk with the sugar, cornstarch and vanilla sugar. Bring the mixture to a thickening over low heat, add white chocolate, stir.

Pour the glaze over the top of the cake, sprinkle with chocolate chips.

Leave the cake in the refrigerator for 4 hours, and then remove the pastry mold and serve.
