It is worth replacing the dressing with a more dietary dressing. For example, such dressings include those based on olive oil. For a more pronounced flavor, mustard is added to the oil.
If you want to make the taste of the sauce slightly sweeter and more interesting, you need to use honey in the dressing. It will soften the bitterness of mustard. Wine vinegar will spice up the salad.
Thanks to an interesting dressing, even an ordinary salad with apple, beets and carrots will become more unusual and still remain useful.
Ingredients:
- carrot – 1 pc;
- apple – 1 pc;
- beet – 2 pcs;
- lemon juice.
Ingredients for dressing:
- mustard – 1 tsp;
- olive oil – 30 ml;
- honey – 1/2 tbsp;
- white wine vinegar – 30 ml;
- salt.
Preparation of the salad:
Grate carrots, apple and peeled beets on a coarse grater. Mix carrots, beets and apple, add lemon juice.
For dressing mix mustard with olive oil, honey, white wine vinegar, salt. If desired, add ground black pepper.
Dress the salad with this mixture, stir.

If desired, dress the salad with chopped walnuts, parsley and sesame seeds.
