These cakes are especially popular in the summer when you don’t want to turn on the oven and among cooking beginners because they are easy to prepare.

In addition, cakes without baking are often chosen by people who are limited in time or do not have access to an oven, for example, on vacation or in the office.

Let’s tell you how to prepare a delicious cake without baking

Ingredients for cream:

  • milk – 500 ml;
  • eggs – 2 pcs;
  • sugar – 80 g;
  • vanilla sugar – 10 g;
  • starch – 40 g;
  • butter – 200 g;
  • condensed boiled milk – 180 ml.

Ingredients for the dough:

  • egg – pcs;
  • salt – ½ tsp;
  • milk – 80 ml;
  • vegetable oil – 1 tbsp;
  • leavening agent – 5 g;
  • boiled condensed milk – 180 ml;
  • flour – 300 g.

Preparation of the cake without baking:

Heat the milk for the cream, in a bowl whip the eggs with sugar and starch. It is important to whisk so that there are no lumps

. Thinly pour the egg mixture into the milk, keep stirring and wait for thickening. After thickening, stir the mixture for 30-40 seconds, then pour in vanilla sugar.

Cover the cream with foil while preparing the dough

Mix condensed milk with regular milk, break an egg, salt and mix.

Combine flour and baking powder, pour into the mixture, knead the dough

Knead the dough for a minute on the table, divide it into 7-8 equal lumps

. Roll out the lumps into tortillas with a diameter equal to the pan. Fry each cake on a dry griddle for a minute under a lid on one side and 30-40 seconds on the other.

While the custard base is cooling, trim the cakes to a perfect circle. Beat the soft butter with a mixer until white, add condensed milk.

Place the cakes in a pastry ring, smear each with cream. Do not forget to lay parchment on the bottom. Leave the cake in the refrigerator under the foil for 8 hours.
