German ice cream is a special type of ice cream that differs from other ice creams in its unique recipe and preparation method. It has a thick consistency, rich flavor and aroma, and often contains unusual ingredients such as licorice syrup, berry juices or even beer.

It can be found in many cafes and restaurants specializing in German cuisine, as well as in ice cream stores around the world.

Let’s tell you how to make your own ice cream at home.

Ingredients:

  • peaches in syrup – 500 g;
  • sugar – 60 g;
  • cornstarch – 60 g;
  • lemon juice;
  • condensed milk – 90 g;
  • whipped cream – 200 ml;
  • cream cheese – 200 ml.

Preparation of German ice cream:

Cut peaches into small cubes.

Pour

all the liquid from them into a saucepan in advance, put the cut peaches in the same place and turn them into a puree with an immersion blender.

Pour sugar into the peach puree, stir until the grains of sand dissolve

Pour in the same starch, stir and cook over medium heat until boiling

. Then transfer the puree into a separate container. Leave the puree to cool under a film to room temperature.

In a bowl with lemon juice pour condensed milk, stir. Whip the cooled whipped cream with a mixer until visible peaks form.

Pour the condensed milk and lemon juice into the whipped cream. Beat the mixture for less than a minute until homogeneous, add cream cheese. Beat the components until completely combined with a mixer

. Pour the peach puree into the cream mixture in batches, stir. Then transfer it into a mold, level it and put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
