The easiest PP cake in the pan: no flour and no sugar

A PP cake is a cake that follows the principles of good nutrition (GN). It can be made with healthy ingredients such as whole wheat flour, natural sweeteners, low-fat dairy products, fruits and berries. The

main principles of a PP cake are the use of natural ingredients, avoiding sugar or replacing it with natural sweeteners; and reducing calories by reducing the amount of flour and sugar. PP cakes often include the addition of protein in the form of cottage cheese, yogurt or protein powder and the elimination of harmful fats and replacing them with healthy vegetable oils.

main thing is to use quality ingredients and keep a balance between taste and benefits.

Ingredients for shortcakes:

  • Egg – 1 pc;
  • Apple – 100 g;
  • Milk 2,5% – 30 ml;
  • Oat flakes – 40 g;
  • Cinnamon – 1/3 tsp;
  • Leavening agent – 1/2 tsp;
  • Sweetener – 1 g.

Ingredients for the cream:

  • Soft 5,5% cottage cheese – 170 g;
  • Sweetener – 2 g;
  • Prunes – 20 g;
  • Walnuts – 10 g.

Preparation of PP cake:

Pour boiling water over the prunes, and peel the apples from the peel and core, cut into small cubes. Put the apple, egg, oat flakes, cinnamon, leavening agent and sweetener in a blender bowl.

Pour the milk into the mixture and whisk until smooth. Grease

pan with vegetable oil, heat and place the dough.

Spread the dough all over the bottom and fry under a lid on one side for 8 minutes, on the other side – 4 minutes. For the cream, mix the cottage cheese and sweetener.

Divide the prepared cake into 4 equal triangles

Cover each triangle with cottage cheese cream. Finely chop the prunes and sprinkle them on each cake.

Assemble the cake from the triangle cakes, put it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours. Do not forget to smear the sides of the cake with cream.
