Cakes do not necessarily need to take a long time to prepare and have complicated recipes. There are examples of homemade cakes that do not even require baking sponge cake. The role of sponge cake for such cakes is played by cookies or gingerbread. By the way, gingerbread is a win-win for a homemade quick cake.
There is a huge variety of gingerbread, which can be found in any store. Gingerbread can be sweet or savory, with different fillings and additives. Modern technology makes it possible to produce gingerbread with different flavors and textures. They can be covered with icing, chocolate or nuts. Let’s prepare a simple gingerbread cake.
Ingredients:
- Gingerbread – 800 g;
- Sour cream – 500 g;
- Powdered sugar – 150 g;
- Bananas – 2 pcs;
- Kiwi – 3 pcs;
- Mac – 6 tsp;
- Milk chocolate.
Preparation of gingerbread cake:
Cut the gingerbread into small pieces. In a bowl combine sour cream with powdered sugar and mix, put it in a pastry bag.
Slice banana into thin slices
. Place ⅓ of the gingerbread in a pastry mold covered with food film. Grease the gingerbread biscuit with sour cream, sprinkle with poppy seeds and cover the top with banana slices.
On top of the banana layer, layer the second part with gingerbread crumbs. Slice kiwi into thin slices. Grease the gingerbread layer with cream, sprinkle with poppy seeds and put the kiwi on it.
Put the last part of the gingerbread crumbs on the kiwi layer.
