The fact is that in the area inhabited by these people, milk quickly sour. To preserve milk for a long time, fresh product was mixed with sour. The result was yogurt, which is now called Greek.
From yogurt, especially not sweet, you can prepare a large number of interesting dishes.
For example, yogurt airy tender cake.
Ingredients:
- eggs – 4 pcs;
- sugar – 3 tbsp;
- vanilla sugar – a pinch;
- cornstarch – 3 tbsp;
- Greek yogurt – 350 g;
- salt – a pinch;
- leavening agent – 1 tsp.
Preparation:
Eggs are divided into yolks and whites, to the yolks pour classic and vanilla sugar, whip.
Pour to the yolk mixture cornstarch, leavening agent and mix.
