The history of the origin of tomatoes began in the territory of modern Latin America. The first information about tomatoes as a food product is found in the early 16th century. Let’s tell you how to make an appetizer from tomatoes
.
Ingredients:
- tomatoes – 900 g;
- olive oil – 50 ml;
- vinegar 9% – 25 ml;
- water – 30 ml;
- salt – 1 tsp;
- sugar – 3 tsp;
- pepper – 1 pc;
- chili pepper – 1/2 pc;
- garlic – 6 cloves;
- dill – a bunch;
- parsley – a bunch.
Preparing the tomato appetizer:
Mix olive oil and vinegar in a small bowl, add water, pour salt and sugar, mix. Grate the peeled peppers, thus getting rid of their skin. Peel
the chili peppers, chop them finely and add them to the sweet peppers
.
Press the garlic into the peppers. Chop dill and parsley in a separate container.
Cut tomato slices and put ⅓ of them on the bottom of a deep salad bowl. On top of the tomatoes lay the mass of peppers, sprinkle it with greens, pour the sauce.
Cover the layer of greens with the second part of the tomatoes, repeat the order of layers of peppers, greens and sauce. So form three layers for the appetizer, take it to the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
