Modern man is used to use beets for their intended purpose. Let’s prepare a simple beet salad.
Ingredients for beet salad:
- beets – 2 pcs;
- onion – pcs…;
- carrots – pcs.;
- salt – a pinch;
- pickles – 4 pieces;
- green onions – a bundle;
- black pepper – a pinch;
- garlic – clove;
- sour cream – tbsp;
- mayonnaise – tbsp.
Preparation of beet salad:
Boil beets until ready, and then peel and grate on a coarse grater. Chop finely onion and fry in a frying pan in vegetable oil until soft.
Peeled carrots grate on a coarse grater, add to onions and fry for 7 minutes. Do not forget to salt onions and carrots during frying
. Leave onions and carrots to cool down. Chop pickles finely, send them to the salad bowl with the beets, along with onions and carrots. Shinkuem green onions, add to the salad.
Pass garlic cloves through the press, put in the salad, salt and pepper. Fill the salad with mayonnaise and sour cream, mix.
You get beet salad, slightly similar to vinaigrette.
