.Let’s prepare a simple Lenten sand pie

Ingredients for the dough:

  • Water – 160 ml;
  • Vegetable oil – 120 ml;
  • Sugar – 180 g;
  • Salt – pinch;
  • Leavening agent – 10 g;
  • Flour – 500 g;
  • Vanillin – 1 g.

Ingredients for the filling:

  • Currants;
  • Sugar – ½ tbsp;
  • Starch – 2 tbsp;
  • Cinnamon – 1,5 tsp.

Preparation of sand cake:

Pour sugar into water, pour vegetable oil into it and stir. Pour salt, vanillin and baking powder into sugar liquid, mix.
