Zucchini scones are a very controversial dish for many people. The fact is that zucchini is not liked by everyone, baked goods, flatbreads from this vegetable can seem strange to taste. However, if you prepare zucchini tortillas correctly, you can get a delicious dish.
For example, in Turkey, zucchini tortillas are called “gözleme” and are cooked on a special pan saj. The tortillas turn out thin and crispy, and the filling can be different – cheese, minced meat, spinach, etc.
And in Greece, zucchini is often used to make pies and pies. One of the popular recipes is a pie with zucchini, feta and olives.
Let’s prepare on our own delicious zucchini flatbreads with sauce
Ingredients:
- Zucchini – 2 pcs;
- Egg – 2 pcs;
- Sour cream – 4 tbsp;
- Flour – 5 tbsp;
- Baking powder – 1 tsp;
- Salt – 1 tsp;
- Onion – 1 pc.
Ingredients for the sauce:
- Cottage cheese – 150 g;
- Sour cream – 1 tbsp;
- Garlic – 1 clove;
- Dill – sprig.
Preparation of zucchini tortillas:
Grate zucchini on a coarse grater, squeeze the mass from excess liquid. Chop onion finely, put it to zucchini.
Break eggs into zucchini mass, put sour cream, salt and mix. Pour the flour and baking powder into the zucchini mixture and knead the dough.
Cover a baking tray with parchment and place small tortillas of dough on it. Bake the tortillas at 180 degrees for 25-30 minutes.

For the sauce, combine cottage cheese and sour cream. Chop dill and add to the mixture along with pressed garlic. Smear
each flatbread with sauce and roll into tubes
