Chicken legs contain many useful substances, such as vitamins B, A and K, as well as minerals – iron, phosphorus, potassium, magnesium and others. They are a source of protein, which is necessary for the growth and repair of body cells. In
addition, chicken meat is easily digested and does not cause heaviness in the stomach. Let’s fry together juicy chicken legs in the Jewish way.
Ingredients:
- Onion – 400 g;
- Chicken – 1 kg;
- Salt – ½ tsp;
- Black pepper – ⅓ tsp;
- Soda – 1/4 tsp;
- Garlic – 2 cloves;
- Laurel leaf – 1 piece.
Preparation of Jewish chicken legs:
Chop onion finely, in a skillet with butter fry until transparent. Pour baking soda to the onions, stir and continue frying.
Salt and pepper the chicken legs, put them to the onions and stew on low heat for 20 minutes under a lid.
Turn the chicken legs over, cover the pan with a lid and braise for another 20-25 minutes.
Chop garlic finely and add it to the chicken legs, braise under a lid for an additional 5-6 minutes
.
As a result we have golden chicken legs in onion sauce.
