Ingredients of the dough for potato patties:
- egg – 1 pc;
- water – 150 ml;
- milk – 100 ml;
- sugar – 1 tsp;
- salt – 1 tsp;
- quick yeast – 6 g;
- flour – 470 g;
- vegetable oil – 4 tbsp.
Ingredients for stuffing:
- potatoes – 700 g;
- salt – ½ tsp;
- butter – 50 g;
- milk – 150 ml.
Preparation of potato patties:
Boil the peeled potatoes until tender in salted water.
Pour
milk and water into a bowl, warm up to a temperature of about 30 degrees C.
Pour sugar into the water with milk, beat an egg and add yeast, mix the components. Sift flour and salt into the mixture, knead the dough.
When the dough starts to clump, pour vegetable oil into it and continue kneading. Grease your hands with oil and knead the dough for 5 minutes until smooth, soft and minimally sticky.
Grease a deep bowl with oil and leave the dough in it under cling film for an hour.
For the filling, knead the potatoes, gradually add butter and hot milk.
Divide the dough into 16 pieces and shape into rolls

Cover the rolls with cling film and leave for 10 minutes.
Shape the patties – stretch the dough into a flatbread, put a spoonful of filling inside and seal the edges of the dough.
In a frying pan in heated vegetable oil, fry the patties on both sides until browned.
It is recommended to put the patties on a paper towel to drain off excess oil.
