Ingredients for onion cakes:
- flour – 450 g;
- onion – 3 pcs;
- butter;
- vegetable oil – 50 ml;
- salt, pepper;
- water – 250 ml.
Preparation of onion cakes:
In a bowl pour 250 ml of water and add one teaspoon of salt. Pour in flour, knead the dough with your hands.
In a separate bowl, mix onion in half rings, salt, pepper to taste. Stir with hands.
Cut the dough into equal parts, roll balls. Using a rolling pin roll out a thin layer of dough, smear with melted butter. Sprinkle prepared onions on top.
Roll into a roll and then shape into a snail.
Leave the product for 10 minutes. Press it down with your hands and send it to a frying pan with oil.
Cook on both sides over low heat.
