Ingredients for beet salad:
- Beets – 3 pcs;
- Onion – 1 pc;
- Pickled cucumbers – 3 pieces;
- Eggs – 2 pcs;
- Garlic – 3 cloves;
Ingredients for homemade mayonnaise:
- Milk – 50 ml;
- Vegetable oil – 100 ml;
- Salt – 13 tsp;
- Sugar – ½ tsp;
- Mustard – ½ tsp;
- Lemon juice – 1 tsp.
Preparation of beet salad:
Boil beets until tender, peel and grate them on a coarse grater. Chop finely onion, pickled cucumbers. Boil hard-boiled eggs, peel and cut into small cubes.
Mix onions, eggs and cucumbers in a salad bowl. Drain excess liquid from under the beets, add to the salad. Press garlic cloves into the salad.
For mayonnaise mix milk with vegetable oil, beat 30 seconds with a blender. Add salt, sugar, mustard and lemon juice, whisk again for 30 seconds.
Dress the salad with mayonnaise and mix thoroughly
