A fabulous appetizer of mushrooms. Delicious pickled mushrooms: recipe for a festive table

Champignons are not only delicious, but also easy to cook, which makes them an excellent base for many different appetizers. They combine perfectly with various fillings, seasonings and additives, which opens up endless possibilities for culinary experimentation.

In Europe, mushrooms have been popular since the late 17th century and have since taken a firm place in the gastronomy of various countries. Champignons are distinguished by their excellent flavor and texture, which makes them ideal for different dishes – from salads and hot appetizers to casseroles and side dishes.

Let’s prepare appetizer mushrooms for a festive table

Ingredients:

  • Mushrooms – 700 g;
  • Water – 100 ml;
  • Vegetable oil – 50 ml;
  • Salt – 1 tsp;
  • Sugar – 1 tsp;
  • Coriander – 1/2 tsp;
  • Black pepper – 1/2 tsp;
  • Laurel leaf – 2 pcs;
  • Vinegar 9% – 1.5 tbsp;
  • Dill – bundle;
  • Parsley – a bundle;
  • Onion – 1 pc;
  • Garlic – 2 cloves.

Preparation of appetizer mushrooms:

Peel and slice the mushrooms in two. Pour water and vegetable oil into a saucepan, pour salt, sugar, coriander, black pepper, add bay leaf.

In a saucepan fry the greens first, then add the mushrooms

. Bring mushrooms under a lid to a boil, pour vinegar into them and leave to cook for 5-7 minutes. At this time, cut onions into half rings, chop garlic finely and mix in a bowl.

Put some of the mushrooms in the bowl with the onions and pour the broth

Cover the layer of mushrooms with onions and put the mushrooms again, pour the broth.

Cover the mushrooms with a weight and seal them in cling film. Leave the mushrooms to marinate for 24 hours in the refrigerator.
